Fred- can you pick one moment and two activities to demonstrate the relation between temporal patterns and user groups- say a church service and a basketball match? You could use the transformation, expansion/ contraction of the space and the change in its physical atmosphere to describe how it copes with two extremes in terms of demand. Show the effects all the way from the street to how they use the toilets etc.
